2016 Update and Sponsors!

I had a small procedure to remove a cyst on my foot last week and have been trying to be productive in my down time from training.  You may notice that the website has been updated with a fresh coat of paint and slight design changes.  If you are one of the three people who read the blog regularly, let me know what you think!  I've also added social media widgets on the side, and if you haven't liked/followed me, please do.  I validate my worth by the number of followers I have, so don't let me down.  My race schedule for next season is also updated.  If you are racing any of the same events, be sure to reach out and say hello.  Perhaps most importantly, I've updated and refreshed my sponsor page.

In the offseason, I looked hard and long at my equipment and nutrition needs.  Many of my contracts were ending and I thought about what I could change in order to be better than 2015.  My conclusions were pretty clear.  For those of you following along, you'll notice that I am back with the same companies that I have been with over the past few years.  To me, I'm associated with the best in the business and any change would signify a step backwards.  There were a few opportunities out there to earn a bit more money or have more new toys in my closet, but in my mind the decision was pretty clear to stick with what works.  Every single company I work with is at the forefront of their field and produce incredible products.  The people associated with these companies are passionate about what they do and I am fortunate to have developed numerous strong relationships over the years.  This makes my job easy as a representative because I know I am recommending not only the great products I use, but the great people behind those products.

New for 2016 is the innovative start-up Alto Cycling.  They are making the stiffest, fastest wheels on the market and have already made some waves in the US crit circuit.  With athletes like Joe Skipper, Taylor Reid, and myself you can expect to hear more about Alto Wheels in the triathlon world this season.  Be sure to check out their wheels at www.altocycling.com and let me know if you're interested in a discount code.

Thank you to First Endurance, blueseventy, Dimond bikes, Wattie Ink, ISM Saddles, Alto Wheels, Carytown Bikes, Peluso Open Water, and Utopian Coffee for believing in me and giving your support.  I will do my best to be a worthy representative.  For more information and web links for all of my supporters, check out my Sponsor page.  I am always available to answer questions or give recommendations on products either via email or social media.

  1. Hi Eric,

I'm looking to buy some Alto wheels and was wondering if you'd be willing to share your discount code. I've heard great things about them!
